Landscaping FAQs: costs, planning and timescales

The quickest way is to message us photos of the area on WhatsApp, with a rough idea of what you would like. You can also use the contact form. We will come back with questions or arrange a visit if we need to see the site.

It depends on the size of the job, the materials, access and the ground conditions, so we quote for each job rather than quoting a standard price. Photos and a short description help us give you a realistic figure.

Many garden projects, such as patios, lawns and fencing within height limits, do not. Raised decking, larger outbuildings, walls and front garden paving can have rules. We point out anything that applies to your project.

It depends on the project and the weather. We give you a realistic timescale in the quote and keep you updated if conditions change.

Yes. We carry public and products liability insurance of up to £5,000,000 and employers’ liability cover of up to £10,000,000. Ask us for a copy of the certificate before work starts.

Some work, such as groundworks and fencing, can carry on in showers. Laying paving, pouring concrete and turfing need the right conditions, so we plan around frost and heavy rain.

We advise on layout, materials and levels and can work to a plan you already have. Tell us what you would like and we will talk it through.

Yes. Removal of old materials and waste is agreed as part of the quote so there are no surprises.
