Why the base matters
A shed on uneven ground twists, the doors stop closing and the floor rots. A properly built base keeps the shed level, dry and sound. We can build the base and put up a shed you have chosen, and help you work out the right size and position.
- Choosing a good position, with access and drainage in mind
- A level base, in concrete or paving as suited to the shed
- Assembling and fitting the shed, doors and roof
- Paths or paving to the door so you are not walking through mud
- Old sheds taken down and removed where needed
Sheds for different uses
Storage
Tools, bikes and garden equipment, kept dry and secure.
Workshop
More space and light, sometimes with power run to it.
Garden room
A more substantial building. This can need extra checks, so see below.
Outbuildings placed close to a boundary are limited in height, and larger buildings can fall under building regulations. We tell you what applies before you buy.
